2008, Qanater, Minisry of Water Resources & Irrigation
We created 2 vast landscapes with a surface area of 16 Feddans (67,520 meters) each, as a part of our restoration of the historic site of the Qanater Barrage. One critical mission was the protection and revitalisation of the existing unique gardens dating from the early 19th century. The site is located where the Nile Tributaries begins.
Hundreds of interactive hands-on science exhibits were installed in the landscape of Qanater Children Museum. All are based on ancient Egyptian scientific innovations and were explicitly constructed for the landscape. The outdoor installations includes: an Interactive Water Fountain, a 10 meter high Watch Tower, a Labyrinth, an Ancient Egyptian Water Wheel, and a Rolling Granite Sphere.
